Everything you need to know about TerraNova X™.

Fit & Feel First

What if I’m between sizes?

If your chest and underbust measurements fall across two sizes, consider your compression needs. For a firmer fit or high-output training, size down. For all-day comfort or ease of wear, size up. Still unsure? Start with the larger size — exchanges are free (U.S. only).

What should it feel like when it fits right?

Secure. Flattening. Breathable. A proper fit won’t crush your ribs or cut into your underarms. You should feel supported but mobile — able to breathe deeply, move freely, and wear confidently throughout the day.

Getting it on feels tricky — is it the right size?

If it feels tough to get on at first, you’re not doing anything wrong — and it likely doesn’t mean the binder is too small.

TerraNova X™ uses a hook-and-eye closure at the bottom band to give you better control over fit and support. But if you’re used to pullovers or velcro designs, the motion might feel unfamiliar — especially if you're not used to reaching behind your body.

Remember the first time you put on a pullover binder? You probably struggled — most of us did. But over time, it got easier. Same here. With each wear, the action becomes smoother, your body adapts, and the fit becomes second nature.

If it feels secure, breathable, and supportive once it’s on, you're likely in the right size. Give it a few wears — comfort grows with repetition.

What if I’m sensitive to tightness or sensation shifts?

Everyone’s sensory profile is different. TerraNova X™ is built for body neutrality — flat seams, soft lining, and gentle structure. If tightness is uncomfortable or triggering, start with short wears at home and build from there. Comfort is personal — honor yours.

Why does TerraNova X™ use a hook-and-eye closure instead of velcro or pullover?

TerraNova X™ is engineered for motion — and built with intention in every detail. Instead of using velcro or a pullover design, we chose a flat hook-and-eye closure at the hem to deliver a more secure, adjustable fit that’s custom to you.

The underband features four levels of adjustability — not by accident, but by design. We wanted to give you control over how the garment fits and supports your body on any given day. Whether you're seeking a snug fit for high-impact training or a looser feel for daily wear, the adjustment range lets you dial it in.

We know this style of closure might be new to some — especially if you're used to stretch-and-go sports bras or binders. Hooking it at the back can feel awkward at first, but most wearers find it becomes second nature after a few wears — like muscle memory. Give it time, and the ease will follow.

We made this choice for three key reasons:

  1. Personalized support – adjust the underband to match your needs
  2. Reliability – hook-and-eye hardware is durable and won’t loosen like velcro
  3. Low-profile finish – our flat-lay closure stays nearly invisible under clothes

Once it's on, TerraNova X™ delivers what it’s made for — locked-in support, unrestricted movement, and all-day wear that doesn’t quit.

What’s the compression like?

Supportive but not restrictive. TerraNova X™ was tested under rigorous movement — running, lifting, climbing, sparring, and team sports — to deliver containment without collapse. Expect a locked-in feel that moves with you.

Performance & Versatility

Can I wear this for high-intensity training?

Yes. TerraNova X™ was engineered with movement in mind — from interval runs to dynamic training sessions. It stays flat, holds secure, and won’t ride up — no matter how hard you push.

That said, everyone’s body is different. If you ever feel discomfort, restricted breath, or irritation — pause, remove, and reassess. Comfort should always lead performance.

Can I wear it overnight?

We don’t recommend wearing TerraNova X™ to sleep. Compression gear is built for movement, not rest. Your body needs time to reset without restriction — especially your chest and lungs. Prioritize recovery overnight.

Can I wear TerraNova X™ for swimming or water sports?

It’s not designed for water use. Chlorine, saltwater, and prolonged soak can degrade compression performance. Use TerraNova X™ for dry land training and lifestyle wear.

Does the binder roll, ride up, or shift during movement?

TerraNova X™ is engineered to stay in place through motion. But proper fit is key — follow the size chart and Fit Guide for best results.

Safety & Support

I’m new to compression gear — is TerraNova X™ safe to wear?

Yes. TerraNova X™ was engineered for activewear and lifestyle use — not as a medical device. It offers targeted compression that’s breathable, adjustable, and motion-optimized.

If you’re new to compression or haven’t worn binders before, we recommend starting slow — short wear periods at first, gradually increasing as your body adjusts. Discontinue use if you experience discomfort, restricted breathing, or irritation. And always listen to your body.

Is BYNDAR TerraNova X™ safe for daily wear?

Yes. It’s designed for daily use — breathable, structured, and soft where it needs to be. Most wearers adjust within a few minutes.

As with all compression gear, it’s important to listen to your body. If it doesn’t feel right, take it off. Safety and comfort come first.

What makes TerraNova X™ different from other binders?

It’s a training tool, not just an underlayer. TerraNova X™ is engineered with performance fabrics, reinforced paneling, and construction that withstands impact and recovery. Most binders aren’t built for movement — this one is.

Do you offer custom sizes or plan to expand sizing?

Not yet — but we hear you. As a small, independent brand, our resources are focused on delivering the highest quality fit within our current size range (S–XL). That said, we're actively working to expand size offerings as we grow. Your feedback helps shape what comes next.

Product Details

What materials is TerraNova X™ made from?

A proprietary blend of performance-grade nylon and LYCRA® Sport — engineered for dynamic mobility, breathability, and precision compression. Every fiber is selected for motion, durability, and comfort across high-impact training.

Want to see how it performs in action? Head to the Performance page to learn more.

Is it discreet under clothing?

Yes. TerraNova X™ is designed to sit flush and stay invisible under most tops — no bulky seams or raised bands.

Care & Longevity

How do I wash and care for my binder?

Machine wash cold with like colors. No bleach. Avoid harsh detergents. Hang to dry or tumble on low — high heat breaks down performance fibers. TerraNova X™ is built to last. Treat it right, and it’ll perform on repeat.
